Burch Boxes

The boxes came in a variety of colors, including Blue, Red, and Green.  First the blue boxes:

Sample Boxes were smaller boxes that would be passed-out to entice the customer to purchase a full-sized box.

  Popcorn Tins

Popcorn tins came from Burch (and later Manley) filled with popcorn.  By sealing them, this insured that the popcorn was fresh for popping.  Burch recommended that after the corn was used for popping, the container could be filled with popped corn and sold.  The tin states how much raw popcorn and how much popped corn the tin holds.

In addition to bags, boxes, and popcorn, Burch also provided seasoning oil (the oil used to pop the corn).  Here is one of their 50 pound containers for seasoning oil:
